Bethany currently has a brief waitlist for session openings in the new year
It is important to find a counselling fit that is right for you, even if that is not myself. I have included this resource page to provide you with counselling and resource options to explore further if needed.
Crisis Supports
I am not a crisis support. In the case of an emergencies and crises, please contact a loved one or crisis support center. In British Columbia, you can contact 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433) or the Mental Health Support Line (310-6789, no area code). Online chat support services are also available for youth (www.YouthInBC.com) and adults (www.CrisisCentreChat.ca). Older adults can also contact the Seniors’ Distress Line (604-872-1234).
Please note, many of these services include mandated reporting for imminent risk of harm to oneself, such as in the case of serious violence or suicide. For some marginalized communities, there may be a risk of harm associated with the involvement of law enforcement and health authority agencies. In the case of fear for safety and support, please consider reaching out to trusted resources. Support lines are also available for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals:
